80, passed peacefully on March 24th. He was the husband of Elaine (St. George) Deschenes. They have been married for 60 years. Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Edgar and Ida (St. Dennis)Deschenes. He was employed by Texas Instruments for 40 years before retiring.
Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters, Robin Berard and her husband Mark, Donna Fiske and her husband Robert, and Karen Vieira and her husband Steve, a son, Stephen Deschenes, a brother, Robert Deschenes nine grandchildren, John, Michael, Kevin and Tracy Abreu, Stephanie, and Stephen Deschenes, Leanne and Renee Berard, and Ryan Vieira, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Doris Kelley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, March 28th, at 11am in St. Joseph Church, 1200 Mendon Rd, Woonsocket. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 State St #200, Providence, RI 02908.
